This Moving Cache was born at Pullman's First OC.US Event – the inaugural Opencaching North America gathering in the heart of the beautiful Palouse!
On January 17, 2026, a small but mighty group of caching enthusiasts gathered in Pullman, WA (home of WSU Cougars, rolling wheat fields, and now… the birthplace of this wandering cache). This container was set loose to roam free across North America (and maybe beyond!), carrying a piece of Opencaching history with it.
This is a classic Moving Cache – it has no fixed coordinates. When you find it, sign the logbook, then re-hide it somewhere new.
Important rules:
- Always place it in a safe & legal spot
- Post the updated coordinates and a short note about the new location in your log on opencaching.us
- Include a photo of the hide spot if you can
- Try to move it at least a few miles from the previous location to keep the adventure going
- If it gets stuck or needs maintenance, post a note
