For a few years now a few of us have gathered early on Thanksgiving morning to grab a cache or two along with donut, cup of joe, or a brew for those of us really into the holiday spirits. These impromptu caching sessions have usually taking place in a local county park in close proximity to a Tim Horton's and Consumer's Beverage Center.
This year I am trying to sneak it in as a last minute Open Caching Event and hopefully the kind benevolent reviewers (blatant sucking up I know) will see fit to press the okidoke button without much lead time.
It is for just that reason that I selected the location for this cache. You see the posted coords should place you in close proximity to one of the last fully enclosed phone booths in the area. I promise you it has one of the best views of any phone booth I know of so if your game come on and squeeze into it with whomever else is daft enough to show up.
I promised at least one of the scheduled attendees a personal tour of nearby cache I have intimate knowledge of. If you care to join us bring some waterproof boots and floaties just in case.
The 1st annual OCUS exclusive event kicks off at 8:00 AM and should conclude well before noon. Hope to see you there.
