This is located in Woodland Hills Park in Farmington Hills. This is a 74 acre nature park. Be sure to take some time to walk the various trail loops. The trails are mostly dirt so they could be muddy after rain.
I have not found any hours listed on-line or posted but it may be best to keep it to dawn to dusk hours. The parking lot gates do get locked closed during off-hours. The entrance is on Farmington Road. There may not be any maps at the trailhead. Although you do not need it for finding the cache, you can find a map on-line at: http://www.ci.farmington-hills.mi.us/Community/ParkMaps/Map-WoodlandHills.pdf
The cache is a camo painted rectanglular Lock & Lock container with a log book and some trade items. There should be a pencil in the container but you may want to bring your own pencil or pen. Please be sure to restore the hiding place in a similar condition.
I worked with my ten year old daughter on where to put this. The original trade items were all her selections.
