Salmon Ruins
Is a large pueblo ruin constructed during the late 11th century. In addition to the ruins, there is the Salmon pioneer homestead, museum with gift shop, and heritage park with picnic accommodations. The heritage park exhibits numerous prehistoric and historic reconstructed dwellings. The museum provides an overview of Anasazi history and displays some of the materials recovered from excavations of the ruins. Also available are guided tours to Chaco Canyon and other regional Rock Art and Navajo Pueblitos. Sign the register to claim the cache.
