Welcome to North Dakota’s most whimsical road trip! The Enchanted Highway is 32 miles of quiet county road lined with the world’s largest scrap-metal sculptures, all built by one determined artist, Gary Greff, to keep his tiny hometown of Regent alive. This virtual series takes you from the interstate to the final wave in Regent. There are no questions to answer – simply stop at each giant, snap a photo of yourself (or a personal item like your GPS, hat, or caching name card) with the sculpture clearly visible in the frame, and post it with your “Found it” log.
A farmer, his wife, and their son, built in 1991 from old oil tanks and pipes, stand 45 feet tall and wave at arriving visitors. Take your photo with the Tin Family.
