This is a simple and easy webcam maintained by the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We visit this location often and love to feed the giraffes. If you decide to give them a little food, smile you are on the webcam. Go to the location, navigate to the link, and smile. Post your photo with your log to prove your visit. Oh, and take time to walk around the zoo. We love it.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is open all year round and welcomes visitors to explore and enjoy the animals. Be sure to remember, with the exception of some special events and holidays, the last admission is always at 4 p.m.
Please note: Mountaineer Sky Ride hours are different than Zoo hours of operation.
Year-round Hours
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (last admission at 4 p.m.)
Please note that not all animals will be out on exhibit until 5 p.m.
Holiday Hours
Thanksgiving Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., last admission is at 3 p.m.
Christmas Eve: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., last admission is at 3 p.m. (no Electric Safari)
Christmas Day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., last admission is at 3 p.m. (Electric Safari begins at 5:30 p.m.)
New Year’s Day and all other holidays: Normal hours
Note: The Will Rogers Shrine is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Special Event Hours
From time to time we offer special events at the Zoo that require us to close early to set up.
Boo at the Zoo.
During select October weekends, the Zoo will close at 3 p.m. (last admission at 2 p.m.) and reopen for Boo at the Zoo at 4 p.m. (A separate admission fee is charged for Boo at the Zoo.)
Electric Safari.
During many December evenings, the Zoo will close at 5 p.m. (last admission at 4 p.m.) and reopen for Electric Safari at 5:30 p.m. (A separate admission fee is charged for Electric Safari.)

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo operates independently of local tax support. That means we depend on admission fees, membership dues, donations and grants for funding. By visiting, you’ll not only experience amazing animals, you’ll be helping to care for them. Your Zoo admission also includes an admission to the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun for that day.

*The Military discount is offered to all active duty military, including National Guard and Reserves, and their dependents in the same household, or retired military and their dependents in the same household, any day of the year. A valid Military ID is required for the discount.
