I took a long bike ride through Columbia, Savage, and Jessup on this rather cold March morning. Along the way, I found 1 TerraCache, 2 opencaching.us caches, and 2 benchmarks - not a bad haul. This virtual has been on my to-do list for a while, but I've had to bypass it on my last few rides through the area due to time constraints. The wind was starting to pick up a little bit as I arrived, and it really felt frigid at the top of this hill. After finding somewhere to lean the bike, I made my way through the cemetery and found the correct plot without too much trouble (it helped that there were some other Whites buried nearby - must be a family plot). I paid my respects for a minute before looking for the log password, which I also found easily. I enjoy finding caches in cemeteries, and I also like WW2 history, so this was a great find all around. Thanks for bringing me here, and TFTVC!

I tried a couple of selfies here, but couldn't get a good photo, so instead opted for a photo with my GPSr. It may be a little beat up, but it still gets me to caches. :)

Found the second grave first.

On a visit for work from Utah. I like it when I can find an OC.

I was near and had a few minutes before dark, so I made a quick stop here before getting on the road again. GPS/Phone was acting a little weird, again, but it got me to the spot soon enough. Enjoyed reading the history and seeing the site. Interesting way to get a log code, and quite a coincidence. Thanks for the interesting virtual!

I took the day off from work, so I was able to get out and find a few of the local caches. This was a nice relief after doing some hiking out at Savage Park with the dog. I never knew this was here, so thanks for bringing me to this spot, and thanks for the cache!

Smile FTF Smile 1:55 PM. I had some free time today and was in the area. I actually spotted what I thought was the log password on my way to GZ, but it was not the correct one, although the same name. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
