Very cool house (but if you get up close the aliens that built it must have only been 3 feet tall. An average sized person would clonk their heads while trying to make it into the front door.
As the place was ''on the MLS" with a For Sale sign in place and the front gate open we took liberties to wander into the yard and have a look about. The view of the water from the deck was nice. If you get a chance talk under the structure for an unusual echo (sort of alien).
If the place was taller, would consider buying this place, as it appears from the solid construction that it may be the only survivor should the area get a direct hit from a hurricane.
Found this one w/ my son Mic.
PS: This was our first OC find. Frustrated w/ trying to hide caches on GC, I looked and found an alternative in this site. Was able to hide 2 caches w/ 30-minutes approval and going live for others to find w/ no BS. Hope to see OC grow in popularity as reviewers are not so uptight tyrants.

FTF, and the first find of an Opencaching.us cache in the state of SC!
K heard about OC.us on a geocaching podcast, checked it out a few weeks ago and noted that (at the time) there were only two caches listed in SC, and neither was close to home. He noted their locations and went on with life.
A few weeks later, he & S were in Myrtle Beach attending a convention. As a treat, they decided to have lunch in Murrell's Inlet before heading home. After being seated on the restaurant patio overlooking the waterfront, K looked across the marsh, saw the spaceship house, and remembered that it was a virtual cache! After lunch, they went to the car and grabbed the GPSr, then walked out on the boardwalk as far as they could go, grabbing a few pix of the cache site at the end of the pier.
Thanks for listing this cache, and thanks to OC.com for re-introducing virtuals like this one to the caching community!!
