After getting the virtual at the spring I spent about 30 minutes trying to get to the parking lot for this one. I finally asked the guy at the gate and he pointed me to the parking area close by. Looks like I'll have to hike a half mile. After walking about 500 feet the trail ends at a cool old furnace. But I'm still .4 miles from ground zero. Looking around before giving up I notice a monument the looks a lot like the one described, then it hits me, the coords are wrong!  thanks for the fun and taking me to this very cool place.

Found it on a great day of hiking and caching in the park. We hiked over 9 miles and found several caches, including finds on the two opencaching.us virtual caches in the park. We tried to find a way to the listed coordinates from the trails but finally came to the furnace we knew about and found the monument and sign at 12:30pm. We recorded these coordinates at the monument: N33 14.874 W87 4.070. Thanks for your work on OCUS and for establishing the virtuals here in the park. Hopefully more are will follow.
