3410.  First I parked in the larger lot, by the railroad.  I didn't know where the trailhead was ended up deciding to move on.  As I started to drive away, I saw the big sign for the trails.  Pulled over and decided to go for these 3 caches.

I somehow decided to follow the Blue Trail - sometimes I don't know what to think about myself.  While still on the wrong trail, I ended up slipping on a rock and falling.  After confirming my GPS, phone and iPod were OK, I back tracked and go my self on the namesake trail.

Took a few minutes to actually find the (the 1st) cache, but it ended up being in a spot I'd checked early on.

This was a very good set of caches and I will recommend the bonus.

Thanks and Happy Trails!

I was able to spot this one quite quickly.  I have seen two hikers by the creek but they did not pay any attention to me. Thank you for the nice hike!

This was the only of the 3 caches I found in Gulf Wilderness today after I concocted a rather horrible last-minute plan to go after them while my kid was at Skateland on Lincoln Avenue for a little less than 2 hours for a birthday party, which I just found out about the night before. Just popped the 3 caches in the GPS, and showed up. First, on my old Garmin, I only get the text "OC US: Gulf Wilderness Park Th" and that's it. I couldn't tell which one was the mystery final with the bogus coordinates! Who knew if I was going to show up at bogus coords with no cache to be found? So I actually took the white trail most of the way in, had to cross the stream (not flowing much, and there are a bazillion rocks all along the length of it), and I made my way to a set of coordinates, which turned out the be the 2nd one, and this cache. Stumbled around for about 5 minutes before finding it in it's excellent hiding spot. Put the 1/2 of the coords for the final in my GPS, and went looking for the next one, again not knowing if it was bogus coordinates. Turns out, after a phone call to the cache owner that it wasn't but I ran out of time after about 10 minutes of looking for that one, and had to head back to the car. And oh yeah, almost forgot, there was no pen in this cache, so I had to burn a stick to scribble "YUCK 9/17/11" in the logbook!! It actually doesn't look too bad, and I'll bet it lasts much longer than mud. But since I have to come back, I'll sign that properly. I hope to do that this fall, but it might be next spring. Thanks for the adventure, it was a nice insect free hike on a cool late summer day.

We are in this area on a mini vacation at Niagara Falls. Of course with vacation comes caching. This was the third of nine OCUS caches today in the area. As I wasn't paying much attention, I ended up on the blue trail, not even realizing I was on the wrong trail until I had to trek up the hill to the cache and saw the red blazes; d'oh Wink. I was starting to get a little worried about making the find knowing I needed information in the cache for the Final. But I circled around one time with the thought that I definately approached from the wrong direction and the cache hide revealed itself. TNLN TFTC

Took the direct route to this from another cache.  Luckily the creek was pretty shallow today.  Made a quick find on this one today and really enjoyed the red trail this morning.  Thanks again Borst!!!

I’m not sure about the name on this one, as the only place that seemed a little creepy was the parking area along the tracks. I told Chicky to “mind the dead bodies” as we made our way towards the trailhead, but apparently she didn’t find it as funny as I did. Haha.

Anyway, this was a great trail - and these three caches were probably our favorites of the day. The hike reminded us a lot of Hunters Creek Park near East Aurora. The woods were diverse, and there were some big beautiful trees for us to check out. Also, I love love love love love the many old stone walls in these woods. I don’t think I can tell you enough how fascinating these buggers are for me…but I’m rambling.

The hike in was awesome, and after nearing the first set of coords, I saw a likely spot and soon the cache was in my hands and we were culling the necessary info to get us to the super creepo bonus. On our way down this fine red trail we must go!

After finding the previous OC cache, I figured I should actually use the red trail to get to this one since that's what the cache is named after. Laughing Totally was searching the wrong area for awhile before deciding to look elsewhere. After probably 5 minutes or so I spotted a really good potential hiding spot, and there it was. Very nice hide, TFTC.

Unable to make the trip out to Lockport yesterday so I made plans to start my day there today.  I had a little trouble locating the trailhead in the limited light available this morning but once i did I found myself at the posted coords for this cache lickety split. I   checked a couple spots befoee = found the right on and soon was making my way down the trail to the next one.

Thanks for placing it
