I was pleased to note this older DG virtual that is along my route today. Decided it was too far to walk so I used my electric unicycle to ride down to the site and search for the clues. Found my family name on the wall while there.

Making the drive from SC to Richmond, VA to get one of the new Flagstack flags at the capitol. Recently got into Opencaching so I made the stop at the memorial. TFTV!

This is just an all around interesting cache. Normally, on a North-South Interstate, The Northbound lanes are East of the Southbound lanes. These lanes flip flop in the area of this cache, making it accessible to both rest areas without a pedestrian bridge. This had to be by design. Excellent Memorial by The State, and excellent job by DG coming up with the log password. I wish I was as good with that stuff as you are. Can't believe I'm only the third person to log it on this site in 5 years, and one of them was with the owner at placement. That sucks. Great job DG, thanks

I thought I'd found all the caches at this rest stop, and now here's another reason to visit the Memorial again. I got passed by two cars on the way back to my car, oddly. One was a tow truck looking too big for the bridge. The other, just a minivan, surprised me from behind as I walked along, oblivious. Saw one other walker heading towards the memorial too. Wasn't the greatest weather, but at least there was a pause in the rain, and temperature was moderate.<br />
