Still no word on the re-creation of the National Vigilance Park. My uncle spoke to someone who claimed to be in the know that some of the planes have been damaged and they'll be acquiring new ones for when they can re-open in a new location.

NSA will be building a new Vehicle Control Point (VCP) in this location. There are plans for National Vigilance Park to be reconstructed when the new museum building is completed. On 15 February 2017, the Joint Service Color Guard retired the colors at National Vigilance Park (NVP) in Ft. Meade, MD in a quiet and intimate ceremony. National Vigilance Park has been dismantled as the National Security Agency will be using the location to construct a new visitor's center. Click HERE to see photos from the ceremony.

I found the gc multi here five years ago, before it got archived, but any reason for a repeat visit... The planes and everything brought back memories of my Dad, so it was an even more somber experience for me this time.

Been here a number of times. I was actually surprised that I didn't own a virtual here. I think I hand planned on creating one, but never got around to it. My 200th cache find was They Served in Silence by DragonsEar, Nighthawk700 created a Lab Cache for me here for the I <3 Geocaching event, I've place and found some virtual Munzees and placed Sighter here. I had to double check TerraCaching to see if I'd found a virt from there, here. But, no.
