First time in the Great Falls!

First time out to Great Falls NP. It is absolutely stunning and I plan to make many trips back for running, site seeing, picnicking, etc. The water was quite turbulent today likely because we've experienced a couple days of light rain recently. Luckily the weather was perfect today though. Made a round trip through the southern regions of the park, venturing from cache to cache and taking in the views. Got inked up with an NPS cancellation stamp for the park as well.

Taking a Saturday visit with my wife & the dogs.
Really annoying long wait to get into the park on nice days liek this.
Come here often.. cool sights to see.

#4 of 8 caches in four different listing services. I came down to this park because there were several different caches in three different listing services. It was also International EarthCache Day and I wanted to get my Groundspeak milestone of #8,000 at the earthcache here as well.
Very interesting location that I bet most people don't take the time to see. Thanks for showing it to me. TFTC

2500. Woot! My 2500th cache find! And and FTF! Figure everyone has hand more than enough time to get out and find this one. I'm glad to have been able to make this my milestone, today.
I'd been through this area before, but just figured they were ruins from the canal, but hadn't noticed / read the sign about an actual town. Thanks for helping to rectify that oversight.
I called the milestone in to Podcacher and will call it into the Geocaching Podcast.
