I was in the area so I decided to go for this cache and enter it for the GCGC fantastic 5 relay contest. My camera is my GPS so I took a picture of my hand on the object instead. How cool! TFTC!

Another New Year Open cache for us. I guess they have enough cannons in Davidson that they can spare one down here in the south. I don't think the neighborhood has anything to fear from the Red Coats now. So the pix did not follow the directions but the CO said we could count it anyway, thanks for that. Loved the find and now I know where a cannon is if I need one. TFTC!

As soon as I saw where this was I knew what it was. I too have gone by this oddity many times and wanted to stop and see what it was all about but never did. So, was there a battle here or just a developer that had this in his garage and thought the wife would appreciate the extra space for her car or what? Learned a little but still have questions. Thanks for making me actually stop and take a minute to become more confused by this artifacts placement.
