Just a quick chase after work today.  I thought I heard the elusive wild open cache from the parking lot so I took off headlong into the woods.  After running for about 400 ft. or so I realized that I didn't hear anything anymore and I thought my noise might scare any nearby away.  So I immediately stopped and listened.  Nothing.  Having practiced my calls earlier I gave a few clear ones but not too loud so as to draw any extra attention.  Apparently not loud enough.  I crept a little farther and tried again this time louder.  Finally I heard the opencache off to my right.  After two more calls I spotted it and dashed after it grabbing it before it could escape.  What an awesome adventure. Thanks,

bcAddy

Now to go solve a puzzle, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a chocolate bar.

Brrrr...another cache hunt on a cold winter's morning; hopefully the TermiteHunter will remain this prolific in spring and summer!  I went in search of my first wild opencache, and I had the hunting grounds to all to myself.  Reached GZ, puckered up, and began calling for the little sucker.  Whistling is not one of my stronger talents, but after a bit of wandering I finally heard the wild opencache return my call!  A little more searching and I had the elusive little critter in hand - nice swag in this one - I left it for future hunters but left my signature as FTF on the top line of the log.  Nice job once again TH - I whistled a happy tune back to the cachemobile.
