Driving through to eastern Ontario and we (okay, I) decided to take the scenic route through Algonquin Park. Given that it was the first weekend after the reopening of backcountry camping I had expected to find the park bursting with people but it was actually very quiet along highway 60. At the east gate there was one group of 4 sitting around their vehicle but otherwise it was empty.
The monument is important and this is timely with the evens happening in the US and around the world in response to the death of George Floyd. Thanks simrebel for bring me here. Thanks.
