Riverside-Salem United Church of Christ/Disciples of Christ on Grand Island, N.Y. would like to invite all Geocachers who have found or need to find the Geocache on their property to a Carol Singing and Potluck Dinner at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 23rd, 2012. The Potluck Dinner of course will be inside their Environmental Cottage Church Building, as will the Caroling, in the event of cold or inclement Weather.
This event is scheduled to run until 6:00 PM. There is no Church Service, just the Caroling and Dinner. The event host will bring the dishes to pass for the Geocaching contingent, assuming 10 or less Geocachers will attend. More than that, and expect me to start contacting people! Bring your own beverages, and note that Riverside-Salem is not a teetotaling congregation, beer and wine are fine. In moderation of course, this is a Church function you know.
The Geocache in question is listed only on Geocaching.com, although it has an Opencaching.us BIT cache and a couple Munzees attached. Who knows, there may be some new Munzees. An "event" that is already organized outside of the geocaching community cannot be listed on Geocaching.com, of course. Church Flyer below, please join us! Any questions, just let me know.
