So long and thanks for all the fish - OU0753
I've found many caches during my time here in Edmonton so I thought I would leave one behind for others to find.

Beschreibung EN

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish is the fourth book of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series written by Douglas Adams. Its title is the message left by the dolphins when they departed Planet Earth just before it was demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, as described in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The phrase has since been adopted by some science fiction fans as a humorous way to say "goodbye" and a song of the same name was featured in the 2005 film adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Caching is about enjoying your surroundings and, yes, finding the unfindable cache.  Caching is also about meeting new people that share a common interest, sharing experiences while out in the great outdoors.  I know that the winters can be a little on the harsh side so I'll save you from searching for this cache as it really isn't winter friendly.  (In truth, winter can be decidedly unfriendly at times.) That being said, a little snow and cold weather won't keep a determined geocacher from a cache they just have to find.

While you are here, please search for the other caches in this area.  If you really work at it, you could find them all in one day.  I suggest you take a couple of days and enjoy this area.  Alberta's oldest cache is in the area, but it's not 'just around the corner'.  Please make the effort to find this cache, it's worth the hunt.

Park Hours:

Note from the Strathcona Wilderness Centre Website - Remember pets including dogs and horses, bicycles and off-road vehicles are not permitted at the Centre.

Time to archive this.  I am no longer in Edmonton and can't maintain it.  The GC listed version has been adopted by a local cacher.  Please go and find that one.
