OCNA Virtual at the Center of North America
This OpenCaching North America Virtual Cache is located at the Geographical Center of North America! Technically, the monument at the posted coordinates is about 15 miles (24 kilometers) from the true center of the Continent. Nevertheless, the posted coordinates will bring you to a rock obelisk marking the "Geographical Center of North America". The monument was erected in 1931.
Visit the posted coordinates and take a picture of you or your GPS-enabled device with the monument in the photo. You will also need to get the Log Password. A short distance from the monument is a set of distance arrows. For example, one says “Arctic Circle, Canada, 1450 miles”. The log password is the longest distance (in miles) of the distances listed, in the format ####
Logging Requirements
To log this cache, you must post a photo or your GPS-enabled device with the monument in the photo. Any Found It logs without the required photo will be deleted. Additionally, you will need to enter the Log Password to post a Found It log.
