I built this location and spent a great deal of time here. Jal is very unique city in Southeastern NM. You really should try to spend a day here.
Even the City Park has a Lake shaped in the form of the Brand...
They have a huge history including how the name came about. While here you just must go to the Woolworth Library and go into the Woolworth room. Ask for Mrs. Norwood whose husband, Brian, created the Sillouette, "The Way Home" north of town, runs the Trust that attends to the Woolworth Trust. The Story of the Woolworth's is simply amazing and for sure one of the threads that made this country. The people in Jal are also unique. You can just tell they want to be your friend, but need you to say hello first... Then it is on!!! You will enjoy this town... Likely forget you found this cache... But that was my point placing it here....
