In this tucked-away area stands an enormous, ancient, gnarled hawthorne tree. Its branches provide food and shelter for large numbers of local birds, including nuthatches, woodpeckers, American robins, and many more. Stand here quietly, listen, and watch as the birds go about their lives all around you.
Stealth is required, as frolfers may be out and about, and do watch out for the thorns--the great tree may drop its branches, and there are brambles nearby.
