Description   EN

Grant Flatwoods Sanctuary is an EEL property that a lot of people don't even know exists and certainly is lacking placements, now just 1 TC, 2 GCs and this OC.

You are seeking a white laminated tag with a 6-digit number for your find code - at GZ it is up a bit.

It will be about a 2 mile hike from the parking coordinates provided. There is a lot of wildlife back here, so keep your eyes open.

1 26 October 2011 mmbuggers Found it

Second hike for me to this cache. The first time was a nice walk with knee boots along flooded trails and loads of mosquitos after me most of the time (had bugspray). I had a great time and took some good pictures. Saw a nice size doe jump out in front of me but didn't have time to get a picture. Got to the gz and spent a good 45-50 min. looking but I just couldn't find the tag. This time is almost a week later and the hike was much easier w/o the puddles and skeeters. I reread the cache description before going out and decided i should readjust my assumptions of a bit up. Sure enough I made the find this time fairly easily and secured the number for the find code(email sent to the owner). The cache is in good shape and definitely not as difficult as I made it the first time. Thanks so much for the nice hikes(I have been out here before for a handful of geocaches) and the hide.
