Description EN

This is a check in point for hikers to log their visit - for records and for safety. If you walk the trail in either direction off of FM 1097, please fill out one of the forms. There is a place to pull off the road here to park and there are maps here of the National Forest as well as safety tips. Take the trail in either direction and you'll find some caches on the geocaching.com site.

You will need to answer a question in order to log this cache. If you are standing looking at the registration point, turn around to look behind you. There is a sign on a tree across the road. What color is it?

After finishing the Texas Challenge 2011 CITO (on big green), I decided to head over and try to find this one too. I've been to this trailhead a time or two over the years hunting other caches. There was a large group of hikers taking a break in the parking area during my visit.
