Donated to the City of Bryan by the Brazos Heritage Society in 1993, Heritage Park is a neighborhood park with an historical flair. The gazebo in the middle of the park is named after Matthew Winsper Knobel and is very popular for hosting outdoor weddings. The beautiful Memoire sculpture was donated by Margueritte Gardner in 2001 in remembrance of her mother. Also located in the park are exact replicas of the picnic tables and benches from the old Stephen F. Austin High School. The park is host to a 4th of July Parade and Celebration each year. (3 acres)

Nice Hide! I was impressed with the container and the placement. I enjoyed the hunt. I signed a new log too like the last log entry read. I might have just signed it on the wrong side then. Oh, well. Another one bites the dust for me. TFTC!

This cache sounded familiar but went by the park this afternoon to find it and I had found a previous cache in the same location. Signed a nice blank log. TFTC.

Even though we've been in the B-CS area many years, we never knew about this park. Discovering it was a pleasure, especially since a couple of the memorials are from one of my favorite A&M profs. Found the cache no problem this morning before it got too hot, then wandered around a while and admired the scenery. It's great to see areas like this preserved. Thanks for bringing us here!
