Description EN

The Brazos Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery was established in1867 and is listed as a Historic Texas Cemetery. One of the residents, Judge John Gregg was born back in 1798. At certain times of the year, you might see some horse racing/training going on across the fence line. I was born and raised in Snook and never knew this place existed. Please close the gate when you leave.

The letterbox has a stamp pad in it, so the first few stampers might find it to be a little juicy. There is room for some small swag.

In case you are not familiar with Letterboxes:

Bring your own personal stamp (and stamp pad or marker)
Bring your own letterbox journal
Stamp your personal stamp in the cache log, sign and date it
Don't have a stamp? Use a marker and make a thumbprint. Make a drawing out of it.

So THIS is where Tunis is! I've heard of "Snook/Tunis" for many, many years and finally found the Tunis area! Nice cache here too. Brought my letterboxing stuff and did some stamping before heading towards home for the evening. Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here!

FTF at 10:53 am! Found this cache while hunting a place to put one of my caches. There are some really old graves here. Took the geocoin. Thanks for bringing me out here. I'd like to watch the horse racing sometime.
