Description EN

This cache is part of my Sandwich, MA series of caches that make up my Girl Scout Gold Award project. Easy to find near the entrance to the Green Briar Nature Center, this cache is labeled unknown because it is a plant stake with a QR code. Download the i-inigma QR code reading app to your smartphone (free for both Android and iPhone) to scan the QR code for information on the cache location. To log this cache, you must use a password. The password can be found by scanning the QR code on the plant stake.

The Green Briar Nature offers interpreted nature trails and a spectacular wild flower garden. Natural history programs for children and adults are offered year-round and include classes, field trips, guided walks, and workshops on the natural sciences. Next to Green Briar is the 57-acre Briar Patch Conservation Area (where you can find one of my geocaches), home of Peter Rabbit and many other animal characters created by Thornton Burgess. Walking trails are open to the public.

The Green Briar is open year round, Monday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm and Sunday, 12 to 4pm (Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, July 4th, Labor Day and some other holidays). Admission by donation.
