I wanted to come and see this. Plus on the way I could clear out some of the competitor's caches 
while I was in the area. I've been by here several times, but never noticed this very nice memorial. Thanks for showing it to me. TFTC

2918. OK, this is getting to be a trend. First, I can't make it too easy for sfcchaz or cycleangela to get their FTF's. Second, I seem to be on a roll with verteran memorials. Finally, this was another new cache near home, that I didn't see until it was actually published.
I have been by here any number of times - on my way to / from my dad's place, on the way home from work (if the Beltway is backed up), or just out caching. However, I've never stopped.
I parked on on Park Avenue. Not sure why Google Maps calls it Zug Road.
On the way to GZ, I discoverd something else interesting - The Freedom Tree. "With the vision of universal freedom for all mankind, this tree is dedicated to MAJ John W. Lafayette and all Prisoners of War and Missing in Action. 1973."
