Welcome to the lovely "town square" area of Matthews, surrounded by the Town Hall, library and Matthews Welcome Center/Museum.  Unnoticed by most visitors is a small plaque at ground level at the posted coordinates.  This time capsule was buried in 2004 to mark the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Town of Matthews.

To log this cache, enter the year that the capsule is to be opened in the password section of your log.
