You must visit the cache page and and click on "Edit Cache" to change the status.
Once in Edit mode, near the top of the page, change the status to “Ready for Search”. Now scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the option “Publish Now” then click the “Submit” button.
On this page, you may also add additional waypoints, add images, select additional attributes, etc. The more information you provide about your cache, the more people will want to find it!
If you want the cache to go live on a future date, select the “Publish Date” option and specify the desired date/time.

On July 8, 2010, a train hauling 19 cars full of grain derailed and
overturned just outside of downtown Waxhaw. No one was hurt - but Hwy
75, the main artery through Waxhaw, was completely shut down. The
Waxhaw Volunteer Fire Company, CSX, police, local government and
ordinary citizens worked together for days to clean up the mess and get
the road opened. That spirit of cooperation was captured and
commemorated in the artwork that stands before you, appropriately titled
"Getting Back on Track." Actual pieces from the wreck were used in its
