Cache is a small 50ml cylindrical tube. I tried something new to camo this one - glue and beach SAND. It's hidden under a large rock (STONE) by a footbridge over Stoney Creek. Hopefully you won't get your feet wet looking for it. Please bring a pen and replace the cache exactly as found, being sure that the tube cannot roll out and into the creek.
Roadside parking is available on Powerline Rd, directly acrosss from the trail access off 5th Rd east. Please do not attempt to park on 5th or 8th Rd.
Note that the boardwalk through the Vinemount Swamp may be closed due to a large number of dead trees which pose a danger to visitors. This cache is located before you reach the boardwalk, and can be found without accessing the closed section of the trail.
This cache has been in play since December 2012 and was listed on opencaching.com. It has been found twice, as recently as May 2014. I am archiving all of my caches listed on opencaching.com and listing some of the better ones here at opencaching.us. I also plan to add new caches here as well.
