A micro cache along the Forty Mile Side Trail, hidden on 02022020. This is a nice area along the Forty Mile Creek. Parking is available by the lake (N 43 12.243 W 079 33.174). Follow the trail along the creek, over the creek, and all the way until it starts to loop back. Cache is a micro in a spruce tree, a short distance off the trail. Ground is often wet so wear boots. Once you are done, head back to the lake to enjoy the views. This is a historic site, where the Engagement on the Forty took place during the War of 1812. Now, it's home to the first Canadian War of 1812 Bicentennial Peace Garden. https://www.niagarathisweek.com/news-story/3309543-peace-blooms-on-historic-battlefield-grounds/
