This large rock is painted every year around May, by a local artist named Bubba. He had gotten tired of kids putting graphity on this rock and just decided to paint it with a vetrun type them to it and it has keep on going from there.
To find out more of the history on the rock and Bubba visit the website www.thefreedomrock.com it's a pretty cool story.
You will find a small "shed" just about 20 feet away from the rock. In that shed is more information on the site and a vistiors book. Please sign the book to gain credit for this cache.
