Take a Storywalk around
The place where books are found
Go past the pail to catch rainfall,
Step off the path and towards the wall
A green thumb you do not need
Just think like a gardener and you’ll succeed!
Need more?
Look again at that first line
Now look around; you’ll see a sign!
The walking path behind Collins Hill Library recently got an upgrade. We hardly see our customers explore it, so we thought this challenge would help. We are about to host a program on geocaching and wanted to hide our own! This cache is made with our youngest visitors in mind, so we hope this is a pretty easy find. Shouldn't take more than ten minutes total. Look for a repurposed sauce jar painted in gold glitter.
NOTE: This cache is only available during the library's opening hours as no one is allowed on the grounds after closing (M-Th: 10AM-8PM ~ Fr-Sa: 10AM-5PM ~ Su: 12PM-5PM you can always check our hours at www.gwinnettpl.org)
Inside the initial cache
-Laser cut tokens with Gwinnett County Public Library's logo made from our Learning Labs (visit the library to learn how to make your own!)
-3D printed animals (to fit the theme of this year's Summer Reading Challenge: Tails and Tales)
-Shells
-One euro coin
-Plastic rhinestones
-A visitor sheet with a pencil (come inside and let a staff member know if the pencil needs to be replaced)
