I had some free time this afternoon and wanted to seek this new series for the current OCNA contest. I got the 5 that were published so far. I walked a total of 2.9 miles, but I did back track a couple times and also went into the Visitor Center.
This was the last one of the series today. I'm glad I overheard the gentleman in the Visitor Center talking to someone on the phone about parking at this location: It is only for people who are fishing and you need a pass. Although I was not intending on driving over there, I may have later on another visit. The weather was perfect today and all the shade out to this one made it an enjoyable hike. TFTC
