Long Branch is a 163 acre parcel purched in 1990 by Orange County and transferred to EEL. It is adjacent to Hal Scott Perserve on the South and Pine Lily Perserve to the East. There are various habitats to include flat lands, Pine & Oak woods and water/swampy sections with the Long Branch tributary to the Econ River.
