After getting home from work I knew I had some time to drive over and make a couple finds before the sun set today. I turned onto countyline and came over a hill and saw two cars on either side of the road with a woman waving me down. I stopped and she asked me if I had a cell phone. The other car with an elderly couple had hit a deer and it rolled up and over their car taking out the wind shield. I could do one better since I have red lights and radios as I am pulling my second stint as an officer and am the 1st asst chief. Called in the incident to my county dispatch and then helped out the folks as we waited for Alden's Bravest. Lucky all the cuts were very minor and both people were fine. The deer ran off and could not be located. Made sure they were in good hands and continued on my way. I pulled in to the park and soon had the "new" cache in had second to sign the log book behind the FTF and re hider of the old/new cache. So I guess Im the new FTF on an old /new cache? Doesn't matter. Walked over and found H-2 The Fashizel's cache. Then stopped at China King for some Kung-Po chicken as Mrs SF7 is out of town this week for work.
Thanks for being a "green"cacher. Reusing, recycling and refreshing. I wonder who the original placer was.
